July brought two updates that give teams more visibility and more ground to work with: a new Admin Dashboard for tracking usage and adoption at a glance, and Foundation Data live in Massachusetts, another step on 4M's path to nationwide coverage by the end of the year. Here's what's new.

New Features and Updates

New Admin Dashboard: A Clearer View of Usage and Adoption

Admins now have a dedicated command center for tracking usage, adoption, and consumption across their organization. The new Admin Dashboard adds three tabs, each built to answer a different question:

  • Overview — Active users, monthly project trends, and CAD/GIS download activity at a glance
  • Users — Total users, pending invites, new vs. returning users, and distribution by role, department, and other org fields
  • Projects — Monthly consumption trends, top contributors, and distribution by project phase, type, and other custom fields

A separate Contract tab rounds it out, showing contract dates, active add-on features, enabled states, and consumption utilization in one place.

Why it matters: Admins and champions can finally see adoption, expansion, and consumption trends without piecing it together manually, making it easier to plan ahead, spot underused seats, and have informed conversations with their 4M team.

Foundation Data Is Now Live in Massachusetts & Arkansas

4M's Foundation Data is officially live in Massachusetts and Arkansas, delivering instant, reliable utility data to projects statewide.

This launch is part of a bigger milestone: 4M is on track to become the first and only utility data platform with nationwide coverage by the end of 2026. Every state we bring online means more teams working from the same trusted, up-to-date picture of what's above and below ground.

See the map below for the current mapped states (gold) and stay tuned for, South Carolina, and Delaware coming next month.

See you next month

July's releases reflect two sides of the same goal: giving teams clearer visibility into how they're using 4M, and putting more of the map in reach. As always, if you have questions about these updates or want to learn more, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or visit our help center for step-by-step guidance.
