Buddy Program

We know starting at a new company can be challenging, and that’s why we have the Buddy Program- a key initiative designed to help our new hires feel welcomed, connected, and comfortable from day one.

We need your help to make it happen

What’s a Buddy?

At 4M, a buddy helps every new hire feel welcomed, connected, and confident. You're not just a friendly face, but a key part of their onboarding journey, setting them up for a great start.

Buddy periods usually last 1-3 months, based on the new hire’s role and needs. Their manager will define the timeline and share what’s expected.

You’ll be the go-to person, approachable team member who can answer questions, walk them through daily routines, share how things really work around here, and help them settle in during their first weeks on the team.

Being a buddy is also your chance to grow, to mentor, guide, and make a real impact. You were chosen because you lead by example, reflect our culture, and have the kind of supportive presence that helps new hires feel at home.

Stay consistently involved throughout the onboarding process. Even brief check-ins now and then make a meaningful difference.

“Before I even arrived, Dan sent me a cool video introducing himself, giving me a quick tour of the office, and showing me where the snack stash is hidden 😊

It made me feel immediately welcomed and more certain about what this new place would be like.”
