We’re looking for our Direct Sales Representative who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. This position’s primary function is new account acquisition, where you’ll grow revenue with an emphasis on new product sales to our customer base. This includes following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, and closing.

This position will report to the VP of Sales and is based in our Austin, TX office.

We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.


Mission :

●      Timely follow up and qualification of new prospects from either inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing.

●      Develop prospecting plans for territory development to build rapport and create opportunities.

●      Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and obtain business requirements.

●      Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts; provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested.

●      Pursue an increased knowledge of key competitors to communicate our value proposition to customers effectively.

●      Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.

●      Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

●      Obtain repeat business, referrals, and references by applying an understanding of the unique requirements of your customers.

●      Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.

You will be a great fit for a Direct Sales Representative role if you are:

●      Like to go hunt and figure out our sales playbook.

●      Demonstrated experience partnering effectively with marketing, product, and customer success in a PLG sales process.

●      Having a strong grasp on different sales methodologies and can define different processes for different segments to drive maximum volume through each segment.

●      You have an entrepreneurial mindset.

●      A proactive approach with exceptional execution capabilities.

●      Approach to the role that is not only hunting, but also seeing the path to growth focused on customer outcomes.

●      Become an evangelist of 4M and participate in our marketing and brand building efforts.

●      You’re a customer advocate almost to a fault.

●      Experience in the construction industry a plus.


We are looking for someone who has:

●      BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

●      4+ years of demonstrated successful B2B software sales.

●      Experience selling to the construction industry - General Contractors, Designers, SUE and Departments of Transportation (e.g. TxDot).

●      Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired.

●      Proven record of success in an inside sales and or outside sales based selling model.

●      Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers.

●      Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment.

●      Ability to develop trusted relationships.

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools.

●      Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.

●      Proven ability to build and manage pipeline and forecasting.
